Photos: Afia Schwarzenegger’s husband "walks free from jail" as court grants him bail

The husband of Afia Schwarzenegger has been granted bail with two sureties - Maurice Ampaw, lawyer for Lawrence Abrokwah, prayed the court to grant bail due to his willingness to help with investigations

YEN.com.gh and Memrenieradio can confirm that the ex-husband of Ghanaian comedianne, TV and radio host, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa better known as Afia Schwarzenegger, has been granted bailed with three sureties.
Mr Lawrence Abrokwah was on Monday, 25 September, gratned bail to the tune of GHS20,000. The now-estranged husband of Afia Schwarzenegger was facing five charges based on allegations from the comedianne.

The charges included, domestic violence with emotional, verbal and psychological abuse, publication of obscene material, assault and threat of harm.

Before adjourning the case to October 11, 2017, the presiding judge, Mrs. Jane Harriet Akweley Quaye, warned that both parties should desist from speaking to the media about the case as the court sits on the issue. About 3 weeks ago, a video showing Afia Schwarzenegger in bed with an unknown man as Lawrence Abrokwah is reportedly heard threatening to pour acid on the celebrity.
